Watercolors, Acrylics, Silver and Beaded Jewelry
And just like that…it’s spring! I’ve had a productive couple of months in the studio, and am ready to show some new works. Several of the new pieces are now being exhibited at a show in Carson City, the “Spring has Sprung” Nevada Artists Association members’ show:
- Saturday March 23 through Friday May 3, reception 2-4 on Sunday March 24

I work in diverse media, including watercolors, metal and beaded jewelry, and printmaking. My studio is in northern Nevada, which allows a fantastic environment of light and shadows for investigating art forms.
The arts have been a part of my life as long as I can remember. Many years ago, I was an oil painter, not having the patience to deal with watercolor’s challenges. These days I prefer the transparency, unpredictability and flexibility of watercolor. And printmaking. And working in beads and silver. And acrylics.
